It was September 11, 2001, when the world witnessed the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon by the Al-Qaeda terrorist cell. Since these attacks, the world order has radically changed. Permanent fear and anxiety, hatred against the terrorist, incomprehension and sadness are just some of the many emotions that have begun to grow within the population since these attacks. Most of these feelings dominate the daily lives of all of us. 13 years after the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Pennsylvania as well as the attacks in London and Madrid, terrorism remains one of the most contemporary problems, this is largely due to the fact that other attacks Terrorists have since followed. For example, in 1998, the...... middle of paper ......ed at the same time. Financing has also become an advantage due to globalization because, as mentioned earlier, the movement of money around the world has become easier due to open borders. Today, it is difficult to deny many of the alleged and some other characteristics of the new terrorism, including its global nature, narrow networks, use of modern technologies, significant financial resources and high financial independence. There is therefore a direct and close relationship between globalization and terrorism. There are many opinions about globalization and its impacts, but the concept itself offers many opportunities for individuals and governments alike. Not only does globalization support terrorism, it also makes the fight against terrorism difficult. To fight terrorism, international cooperation between governments is necessary.
