  • Essay / Continuing my studies in Economics, Accounting and Law at...

My studies in Economics, Accounting and Law at A level have made me a more well-rounded student, acquiring a broad set of analytical and organizational skills, combined with an emerging sense of appreciation for the interconnectedness of society as a whole, as well as the contribution that each individual can make to revive and stimulate our economy after a recession. The combination of subjects that I decided to study over the 2 years of the bachelor's degree is significantly different, but it has a unique combination element that I feel I can adopt and better understand economic concepts and theories. Although the topics varied widely, I enjoyed exploring the many connections between them, for example, how the economy affects business behavior and conduct. It's fascinating to realize how much influence government decisions can have on the way accounting firms are run. This allowed me to evaluate situations from a more critical point of view, generating reflection on the many different points of view of each person.
