    Sustainability is quite simple: everything we need to survive depends solely on our natural environment. The Earth is our home and no one should have a problem taking care of their home. But the fact that not everyone sees things this way causes problems like air and water pollution, which leads to bigger problems like human health. The environment therefore has everything to do with human health. Sustainability creates and maintains quality conditions for humans and nature so that we can all live in peace and harmony, whether it is a social, economic or any other concern; sustainability meets the needs of the current generation without endangering future generations. Sustainability is vital to our future because it ensures we can always have the water, materials and resources needed to protect human health and our environment. I didn't know that "cities are responsible for about two thirds of the energy used, or sixty percent." of all water consumed and seventy percent of all greenhouse gases produced worldwide” (Matt Cole). It seems that the little things we do every day can have an impact on the environment, whether we help or harm our planet. There are ways to avoid completely destroying our home. One step at a time to improve our lives if it takes days, weeks, months, years, decades; a century, no matter how long it takes, we should want the best for humanity. Even if we have solved pollution from the mistakes we made in the past, the next step for us should be to prevent pollution at its central point. We all know it's not just about what you know, but what you do to protect the environment in your home, workplace and community.
