    There are many similarities and differences between the novel Frankenstein written by Mary Shelly in 1818 and the film Blade Runner directed by Ridely Scott in 1982, even though the text and the film are represented in different media and are separated by a huge age gap of 164 years, the film and novel have many close references and similarities such as the concerns of society in that given time period, pushing the boundaries of a confirmatory society and finally progress technological that exceeds the power and knowledge that could be dealt with during the period. Clearly, there is evidence that Frankenstein and Blade Runner are in fact linked and linked by common themes. Mary Shelley wrote the novel Frankenstein at the height of the Industrial Revolution which lasted from 1760 to 1840; the industrial revolution was the transition of the manufacturing industry from the use of manual labor to the use of machines.
