Carl Sagan once said: “Science is a way of thinking much more than a body of knowledge. » This statement would help to understand why people believe in astrology because it is a way of thinking. Astrology is not supported by scientific studies but has many followers. Why might this be so? Because astrology gives people who believe insight into their future, whether it is true or not depends on what they believe. Astrology can offer a desirable prediction for the future, especially for those going through a difficult time. It doesn't matter that astrology is not proven by science; people who believe in astrology don't care if someone else proves its existence. Astrology is a way of thinking that things only happen for a reason and that it is not a coincidence. If something happens because it's a coincidence, then that would be science, and astrology isn't really a science. Astrology gives believers reasons why some of the things that happen to them happen. Astrology can enlighten those who need greater understanding. People want to know their future, this can also give them something to look forward to. People who believe in astrology tend to think that the horoscope will help them prepare for their future. Astrology can be a satisfying and fulfilling wisdom for most who believe. There are four steps to exploring the scientific method of something and that wouldn't work in astrology. There is no scientific method when it comes to astrology because there is no proof whether it is real or not. It would be very difficult to determine how astrology is measured. Astrology is not observed in a scientific testing center because it involves the thinking of someone who believes in astrology. Since astrology can offer its followers a desirable prediction for the future by giving them a glimpse of what might happen to them one day. For those who think astrology exists, it would be difficult to convince them otherwise. Nothing will change their minds, not even the fact that astrology has never been supported by scientific study.
