    Pregnancy can be either wonderful or terrifying. Complications lead to miscarriages and deaths every day, and the weight of this knowledge can drown any mother-to-be's joy in anxiety. Fear for the life the child will lead, or even fear of how the child was conceived, can send many to the nearest abortion clinic or hospital that offers this procedure. However, many women who choose to end their child's life may not realize the pain they are experiencing and the alternatives they can take instead of this life-changing decision to get rid of the person growing inside them. Something must be done, and in order for more children to live the way they are meant to, abortions must be limited and regulated to avoid unnecessary risk to human life. A woman returns home from the clinic, without the child she once had inside her, and instead of relief, she feels pain. Not the burn of a wound or the pain of a broken bone, but a deep-rooted depression that eats away until only an emotional crack remains where happiness used to be. Many women who have abortions find themselves more depressed than if they kept their child to term, which, if not realized, can also lead to suicide.
