    IntroductionChange is a common thread that runs through the entire organization, regardless of its size, sector of activity and age. Our world is changing rapidly and therefore the organization must strive to adapt to the changes. [ ] a necessary characteristic of any forward-looking organization. In the health system, change is essential for improving and modernizing health services. This is essential for adaptation and growth. According to J Sullivan, “change is the process of making something different from what it was.” This often creates fear and anxiety within an organization. The process of change is continuous and begins with the current state, is disrupted, goes through a transition period and finally arrives at the desired state. Once the desired state is reached, the cycle of change begins again. The implementation of change within an organization can then be conceptualized as an exercise in social influence defined as the modification of an attitude or behavior by one actor in response to the actions of another actor. (Marston & Fredkin, 1993 and by Julie et al 2012. Academy of Management Journal). This article explains the process of organizational change using Lewin's force field model theory and the application of the leadership role in implementing change in my current practice. Change is inevitable and must therefore be put into practice. The process of change has been described by a number of theories, including Lewin's three change processes, Lippitt's phases of change, Havelock's model, Roger's diffusion of innovations, empirical-coercive rational power/ normative re-educative and combined strategies. Lewin (1951) offers a socio-psychological vision of the process of change. The role of the leader is to ensure that the conditions and resources are in place to support the change process. Leaders must have a clear vision and goals for the intended change. The leader must show motivation and attitude towards everyone in the face of change and make it work..
