A huge problem in recent years is cyberbullying, which is the use of electronic communication to intimidate a person. Another downside of social media is that it can become dangerously addictive if the user lacks self-control. These are all unfavorable perspectives on belonging to online groups. The question is: do the positives outweigh the negatives enough for a person to continue using social media? Therefore, I don't think social media is totally bad, but I do believe it is a gift to society. I actually think that involvement in the social media circle is beneficial for teenagers in the digital age. It provides an interval for young people to share their views, beliefs, opinions and perspectives. It allows users to stay in touch with people all over the world with the instant tap of a screen or simply click of a button. In addition, everyone can consult, read and share the news of their choice. The flaw in this action, however, is that false testimonies can be spread as quickly as true ones..
