    Anyone who paid any attention in history class knows that child labor was a significant problem during the Industrial Revolution. Families were poor and parents usually had unstable jobs, which pushed their children to go out and find dangerous, poorly paid jobs in factories. But laws were passed in many countries and child labor gradually became a thing of the past. Or did he? Believe it or not, child labor remains a problem today. Today, those in charge have become more devious with their immoral decisions to have children to do their jobs and help them get the profits they want. The 21st century is supposed to be a great era of progress and more freedom! Now is not the time to stick to the horrible business techniques of the past. A child's life should not be filled with fear and longing to go home. It should be filled with friendship, love, family, education and the certainty that the future will be better. Child labor robs children of the life they should have and instills fear and no hope for the future. Child labor is neither natural nor moral and must be stopped. Many people today live under the illusion of living in a world where the number of working children does not exceed 1 million. In reality, there are an incredible 128 million child laborers worldwide. This represents 128 million children deprived of the possibility of a better future. The first step to getting rid of the use of child labor is to let others know what is happening and hopefully this will lead to stricter labor laws around the world.
