    49% of adults surveyed aged 31 to 50 say they regularly use dietary supplements (Dickinson, 19). Food supplements are very commonly used to fill a person's nutritional deficiencies. They are the unknown hero of modern life, and most people don't even know that most people use them. Dietary supplements can benefit everyone in one way or another. Especially “With the popularity of quick and inexpensive processed foods, many of us struggle to get all the nutrients we need from our diet” (“Dietary Supplements: The Health Benefits of Boosting Your Diet” By 1). With McDonald's, Whataburger and Burger King all having a major influence on people's lives and diets, we need to make sure we are giving our bodies the nutrients they need. Dietary supplements offer a variety of these nutrients in pill and powder form; they include things like bone meal and protein powder. Since most people are failing to achieve the nutritional intake they need, many people have really started to step up their game. "The majority of adults in the United States take one or more dietary supplements every day" ("Dietary Supplements: What You Need to Know" Par 1). Dietary supplements have taken off, and with the majority of adults taking them regularly, there's no reason why everyone shouldn't take them. Dietary supplements have been proven to be healthy and effective. “Multivitamins contain many essential vitamins and minerals that can be difficult to obtain through diet alone.
