effect of temperature on solubilityIntroductionThe solubility of a substance is defined as its ability to dissolve. Certain factors change solubility, such as pressure and solvent type, but will temperature affect the solubility of a substance? The problem of investigation is to identify whether or not the temperature of a substance affects its ability to dissolve in another substance. Understanding solubility and the processes it undergoes is very important, this is due to the important role it plays in our daily lives as well as in the human body. When it comes to oral ingestion, especially when administering medications, it is cost-effective because it allows the medication to be delivered throughout the system to achieve positive and desired responses. Meanwhile, it is seen in the human body, it also manifests itself during household cleaning and in automobiles. This is why it is essential to recognize and know what solubility is in order to be able to control, manipulate and improve it as well as to learn about how life functions based on water and chemical reactions.Theoretical frameworkAccording to Rogers (2000), the solubility of a substance is a property that indicates how much will dissolve in a certain amount of solvent. In other words, solubility refers to the ability of a substance to dissolve. When the substance dissolves, we call the substance in which the solute is dissolved the solvent, and the solute, which is the substance that is being dissolved. Solubility can depend and change depending on temperature, most of the time the solubility of liquids and solids tends to increase as the temperature increases. In contrast to this, as temperature increases, the solubility of gases decreases...... middle of paper ......tySavjani, K. (2012) Drug Solubility and Enhancement Techniques.
