    Poe's name was mentioned in one of the Beatles' most famous songs, "I'm The Walrus." The band also used his image on the cover of their album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". (Zappia) Another musician inspired by Poe's works was Lou Reed and his concept album titled "The Raven." The album included interpretations of Poe's tales and featured celebrities like Willem Defoe, Steve Buscemi and David Bowie. (Robertson) Other bands influenced by Poe were rock and metal bands like Alan Parsons Project, The White Stripes and Nox Arcana. Poe has been an inspiration to generations past and present and, hopefully, an inspiration to
