    Tell us about something you learned on your own. Something everyone needs to learn in life is what their interests are. This can be difficult because no one can tell you what it is; you have to learn them on your own. I encountered this many times and through this struggle I had to learn to persist to find my passions. There's often an uncomfortable feeling halfway through when you don't know what you're passionate about. Ironically, it's this feeling of doubt and indecision that leads to realizing what you love. I discovered many hobbies through this process and trusting my instincts. I played the violin for many years before I started to wonder if I loved it or if it was chosen by my parents and I just accepted it to please them. . I realized that I actually didn't like practicing and I knew I could find an instrument that would satisfy me more. So, I tried playing the flute in the school orchestra, but again, it wasn't for me. I had a hard time adjusting to a wind instrument and the sound was unbearable, so I stopped. However...
