This quote from Margaret Sanger, an American anti-birth control activist, shows the importance of women's personal choices. women. Women's struggle for their rights has existed since the beginning of history. Women's work only included housework and childbirth, but in the 1920s, women began to benefit from their choices and rights. In the 21st century, the world has viewed women with fairness and women have started to enjoy equal opportunities, but the government is taking away one right: the choice to use birth control and abort a pregnancy. Society disapproves of the abortion of a fetus in the womb, but it does not realize the circumstantial situation in which life places every woman and should accept the decision that a woman decides for her future, if that choice includes the use of birth control or abortion of her pregnancy. The accessibility of contraceptive pills, the Roe v. Wade and the women's personal stories show that a woman knows best for herself and her unborn child and that the government should have no say in a woman's reproductive rights. Many women in the past were denied the right to choose their sexuality, but in the 1950s, a pill to prevent pregnancy became a reality (Bringle, 61). The birth control pill is a preventive method to avoid unwanted pregnancy. The creation of this fertility control constitutes a scientific advance, but the medical field still does not allow women to access these pills.
