  • Essay / Vigilantes: Cleansing the wound - 1959

Do you believe in vigilantism? Do you believe that criminals and outlaws are punished for their crimes in the name of justice? And if you knew someone so close to you, you would do whatever it took to find those responsible for the pain they caused and punish them in the name of justice. Would you be willing to follow the path of a vigilante and help end his tyranny? Vigilantism can be considered a crime if you view it in a negative way, or it can be viewed in a positive way. Many vigilantes contribute every day to making the world a better place by eliminating the evil people of this world who kidnap, rape, murder and pillage people on the streets. Vigilantism is justified because vigilantes help make the world a better place and bring to justice those the law cannot stop. American vigilantism began in the Deep South and Wild West during the 1700s when the criminal justice system was ineffective or if the criminal justice system was ineffective. the law itself was considered corrupt. Groups of people would come together as one and call themselves vigilante committees and these people would come together to banish or kill those who threatened their communities, their families, or their privileges and lives that they worked so hard to establish (megalians). The states of Texas, Montana, California, other southern states, and the city of New Orleans have been the location of many hotbeds of vigilante activity in American history. UNITED STATES. Countless cases of criminals being tarred, feathered, hanged, and shot by vigilante committees have been documented in the southern states. The record for the bloodiest self-defense activity from 1863 to 1865 is in the state of Montana. Hundreds of thieves are suspected of stealing a middle of paper......and helping to keep the community safe because that's what they truly deserve. If a member of your family was brutally murdered, wouldn't you want to see them punished for what they did? Without vigilance, thugs could eventually take over and the entire world could soon descend into corruption. Even if you decided not to pursue the murder of your family member, what would you do? Would you just sit there and move on and try to heal. Well, you can't heal a wound unless you clean it. Works Cited Kerr, Peter. “Anti-crack citizen campaign: vigilance or vigilance? May 23, 1988.
