    Since the formation of the colonies, differences have stood in the way of a fundamental relationship between the North and the South. Despite these differences, they are not the cause of the problems. In the 1820s, growth between territories and regions increased. This expansion has gone too far, causing a global crisis. The chaos is increasing since the north and the south do not agree on anything. The North strongly disagreed with the expansion of slavery, while the South agreed to expand slavery to new territories and regions. The North's decision was based on factors such as political and economic threat rather than moral threat, as described in the Missouri Compromise. However, the Compromise of 1850 showed more of a case for moral threat, making it more united than ever. The Missouri Compromise had some interesting political action. He described Northern disagreement with slavery as more of a political issue than a moral argument. . In the early 19th century, the North was populated by abolitionists and radicals, those who believed in abolition. Their main goal was not to end slavery because it was inhumane, but rather because whites were becoming unemployed and the South was becoming more powerful. The Missouri Compromise of 1820 was a questionable decision for both the North and the South. A decision on whether or not Missouri should become a slave state. In Congress, those on the Northern side learned that Missouri was going to become a slave state and were dramatically upset. They were upset because it would cause an imbalance.
