Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: “When a resolute young man approaches the great tyrant of the world and boldly grabs him by the beard, he is often surprised to see that it came off. in his hand, and that it was only attached to frighten timid adventurers. The bully we face in our world today is made up of all the things that we believe will bring us down and prevent us from achieving our desires. Watching the movie Extraterrestrial or ET, it is evident that from the time the world discovered aliens to the status quo, there have been changes in what we fear. In today's society, many things are now considered acceptable that may not have been acceptable in previous years, which illustrates the inherent changes that can occur in society. Among these changes are definitive changes in our current fears. In order to understand how fears actually evolved, one must analyze the fears manifested in ET and how they transformed into modernized fears. Then there will be an eexegesis of why fears themselves can change through social norms. Multiple scares were shown in the movie ET. Among them are fears of accepting things beyond human understanding, fear of being different and finally fear. to do what you believe is right when those around you say what you believe is wrong. The main characters explained these fears when they discovered an alien, and after being afraid of it at first, they reduced their fears as they began to understand and connect with the creature. This illustrates the idea that fears can change and that they don't always exist forever.
