  • Essay / Concert Review: Lana Del Rey In Concert - 702

I've been to many concerts but I've never seen an artist speak to her fans like she did. The show was about forty-five minutes long when she started singing the album called Ultraviolence. As the song began to end, her band continued to play the melody as she left the stage and walked towards the crowd. She then spent the next twenty minutes signing autographs, taking photos, and talking to some of her fans. As she continued through the rest of the concert, she read all the signs people were making and holding. Continuously picking up all items thrown on stage and carefully putting them aside. One of my favorite things about her is that every time we cheered or sang her words to her, we saw a smile appear on her face, almost in disbelief that she understood this.
