    Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the point that it can have an adverse effect on health, leading to health problems. It can also be defined as an abnormal or excessive accumulation of fat that may pose a health risk. According to WHO, 2013, body mass index (BMI) is a measurement that can be obtained by dividing a person's weight (in kilograms) by the square of their height (in meters). “A person is considered obese when their BMI is equal to or greater than 30 kg/m2. A person with a BMI equal to or greater than 25 kg/m2 is considered overweight” (WHO, 2013). Obesity is most often caused by a combination of excessive dietary energy intake, lack of physical activity, and genetic predisposition. Obesity is a major risk factor for a number of chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer. For our information, unconscious overweight and obesity constitute the fifth risk of death in the world. At least 2.8 million adults die each year from obesity. Additionally, there are statistics attributable to obesity, in which approximately 44% of the burden of diabetes, 23% of the burden of ischemic heart disease, and between 7% and 41% of certain cancers. Research was carried out by some members of the World Health Organization (WHO) starting in 2008; more than 1.4 billion are adults aged around 20 and over who are overweight. Among these overweight adults, more than 200 million men and nearly 300 million women were obese. Overall, more than 10% of the global adult population was obese (WHO, 2013). Therefore, we should be careful in preventing obesity because it can lead to many problems, including health problems. We must remember that prevention is much better than cure.
