Michael Fritz was a very lonely boy. His parents died in a serious car accident when he was two, so Michael was sent to live with his aunt and uncle. Michael was known to be a shut-in and would never play with children his age. He was happy with the inside of his house and that's where he stayed. While Michel's aunt and uncle were at work, his nanny, Kendra, looked after him and took him to the park. One day that seemed as normal as any other, something very abnormal happened. Michael was taken to the park, and as usual; he went off and played on his own. A few hours later, Michael went to see Kendra and told her he was ready to leave. She agreed and they walked towards the car. “Miss Kendra, can I bring a friend home with me,” Michael said. Kendra replied: “I don’t see a reason why not.” Kendra looked around for Michael's friend, but she didn't see him anywhere. “He’s here,” Michael said, “he’s very excited to come home with us. » That's when Kendra realized Michael had an imaginary friend. She was okay with the idea and thought the concept of an imaginary friend was completely normal. “Oh, now I see your friend. What is his name? said the nanny. "His name is Jonny and he's a year older than me." The whole car ride home, Michael was talking to his imaginary friend. Kendra didn't mind; she was really happy to know that Michael had made some sort of friend. When Michael's aunt came home that evening, Kendra pulled her aside and told her about Jonny.
