    It's amazing how different cultures can be. In some places they have cats and dogs as pets, but in others these animals are used as food. But it's not food that is influenced by the culture around us, it also changes a lot by people's behavior. In some countries, certain things are not said out loud, but in others they are. Drugs are an example. Some countries will allow their citizens to possess marijuana while others will refuse to let it enter their territory. Because the laws and governments of each country are different, people behave differently than they would in other places where such behavior is out of the question. Given how much context changes people and the way they act, it is very important in stories to have a strong framework. There are two stories where the setting is very important, The Man Who Sends Up Rain Clouds and The Old Man of the Temple. The setting of The Man to Send Rain Clouds and Old Man of the Temple influences the characters and events of the story in three different ways: (1) it influences how the characters react to certain types of events, (2) ) it influences the way the story unfolds....
