  • Essay / The lack of education: the importance of learning in...

In very few classrooms, there are teachers who choose not to actively participate in their lessons. This is because they are considered “exhausted”. These teachers have lost their passion for teaching or do not fully appreciate their subject. A large percentage of the students in the class will suffer because instead of just a few students not actively learning, the entire class is unable to acquire the knowledge from the course. In a classroom like this, it is best to just do the work and assignments given without arguing or interruptions. Since most of the time the teacher is not willing to work with the student, they are unlikely to listen if a student questions their teaching style. Ms. Snelle, a young English teacher, sat in her desk chair while her students completed countless worksheets designed to strengthen their vocabulary and grammar. Students asked for lessons and individual help, but Ms. Snelle refused and punished those who asked more than once. This behavior can cause tantrums and outbursts from both the student and the teacher. This is not entirely the teacher's burden, as the student must be willing to sincerely ask for help and understanding. Both must be motivated to work for the improvement of the situation.
