Remember the NameThere are many people who need to be remembered in history, most of the time they deserve it and sometimes they don't. there are many from Illinois like Abraham Lincoln. some famous personalities are more modern like Walt Disney, Nelly, Danielle Campbell. Walt Disney may be dead but his creations are very much alive unlike the other members of Danielle Campbell's cast. Nelly being a singer with her difficult life. Mary Ann Bickerdyke, a woman who helped Lincoln with her during the Civil War. They are extraordinary people who are remembered in today's society. Lincoln-ElectionLincoln was a candidate for election in 1858 (root 1). becoming president still takes a long time now. He faced Douglas. Many debates were involved as well as many speeches (root 1). These events were organized to persuade the public why the candidate should be president (root 1). Lincoln-Speech, Debates, and Monmouth To get the votes, Lincoln traveled to Monmouth, Illinois to meet with historians and many citizens (root 1). While at Monmouth he gave a speech and then went to the house of William Lafery (root 1). After that, he ended up in Monmouth and met Douglas at the railroad. Now that he's finished at Monmouth, he's headed to the 6th debate in the Lincoln-Douglas series. Even though Lincoln lost the debate, he holds a special place in the historical record (root 1). Lincoln - Photography Many people think that seeing Lincoln as a tall, beardless man is not entirely true. Lincoln normally had a beard. There are 119 Photos of Lincoln. So far, only one shows him sporting a beard (Root 1). This painting is precious in remembrance of Lincoln. Because of this we think we have always been shaved, when in reality it is the opposite. Lincoln, the 16th president, was middle of paper......fans. Many famous people were from Illinios, some are famous for the wrong reasons; but most are extraordinary citizens who do good for the community. Nelly did charity work, Mary worked in hospitals, Lincoln was our president. Some are famous for their fun and laughter, like Walt Disney and Danielle Campbell.
