  • Essay / Why our nation's founding fathers chose to be governed...

One of the main reasons is the way other countries now run their governments. The factors of the rule of law are numerous and vast. They include limited government powers, order and security, and open government. Another main reason we now believe our Founding Fathers chose the rule of law over the rule of man is the way our public servants, old and new, act as the way of our government. The final reason people now think they chose the rule of law is because if we were governed under the rule of man, according to the Constitution, it would be more difficult because of the way our government was going to be planned, they thought that the rule of law would be the best solution. Now that we look back at why the Founding Fathers chose the rule of law over the rule of men, we should be grateful that they did, because if they had chosen a different path with our government, who knows where we might be now. Foreign countries that operate the way we do operate successfully, thanks to the path we blazed in the late 1700s. So it must be said how lucky we are to live in the best country ever because about how we are run and the choices our founding fathers made about 250 years ago.
