  • Essay / My personal experience: Most stressful experience

    I dropped four of my classes with Ws because I didn't want to fail them. The other two I kept were easier but I was too far into one and made a D. The other one I passed by the skin of my teeth with a C. Which brought down my average and made me stressed even more. I started drinking and going out to relax. In early May, my grandmother had surgery and I was told she needed chemotherapy and would be fine. A few weeks later, my mother told me that my grandmother was not getting better and that she was in her last days. At that point, I was literally on the verge of falling in at the deep end. I started smoking marijuana and drinking heavily. Unfortunately, I was only able to go there at the end of May. I stayed the weekend and could barely look at her without breaking down. When it was time to go home, I knew it would be the last time I would see her. I just had the feeling that she was waiting for my sister and I to say goodbye.
