The conversion of inputs to outputs is known as the production function. Products are consumed by the external environment in exchange for the provision of inputs. The information system is a computerized system that helps minimize the workload of employees and facilitates their work while providing precise results. Information technologies are evolving instantly in everyday life. Companies must therefore adapt to these changes. The information system and business organizations are interdependent. Information systems are created by managers in order to benefit from them in companies. The interaction between information technology and organization is very complicated and is influenced by many mediating factors such as organizational structure, culture, politics, management decisions, etc. Management information system (MIS) is a framework or process that provides the data needed to oversee organizational success. . Management information systems are considered a subset of the general methodology of a company's internal controls, which cover the provision of individuals, records, innovations and methods used by administrative accountants to resolve business issues, for example the cost of an item. , administration or a company-wide strategy.BACKGROUNDThe Nation Trust Bank was established in July 1999 through the acquisition of the Colombo branch of Overseas Trust Bank Ltd. It is today one of the fast growing banks in Sri Lanka.They have sixty branches, twenty one leasing centers, seven personal banking centers and internet ba...... middle of paper.. ....issue new cards.Disadvantage• Smart cards are actually damaged. Scratches from keys or different questions in the pocket effortlessly damage the pretty strip, making the card unintelligible.• Unsecured, if a smart card is stolen, a person's bank account can easily be hacked.ConclusionAfter a discussion with the bank manager in which we were told that the proposed solutions will not have an immediate impact on transactions. But according to the manager's assumptions, we came to the conclusion that the proposed solutions were more suitable for their problems. The manager assumed that using smart cards would be a very effective solution as many people find it easier to use and constant staff training would be effective with employees as their systems are updated often. the manager also praised the simple solution they have to follow.
