  • Essay / What would Freud, Diamond and Frankl say about Angelina...

In the works of Freud, Diamond and Frankl, they discuss how a person should live. In Angelina Jolie's life, they would all have different opinions on whether she is living her life correctly or not. In her life, she has experienced countless ups and downs. She is an award-winning actress, director, screenwriter and author. She has worked in humanitarian causes for example; Special Envoy, Goodwill, and as United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She was also convicted for different reasons. Especially for the people she was married to. She was married to and divorced from Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton. She is also known for stealing Brad Pitt from Jennifer Aniston. Many people were angry with him. She has three children with Brad Pitt and three adopted children from Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam. For this reason, some people consider her a saint, but others say she only adopted the children for publicity reasons (Wikipedia). Many people also look down on her because of the one time she made out with her brother. Many people consider this a taboo and think she was wrong to do this. The three philosophers, Freud, Diamond, and Frankl, would all have different opinions on how correctly and fully she lived her life. I believe Freud would think that Angelina Jolie lived her life correctly. When he speaks of putting the two different classes of instincts together, “he aims to complicate life and at the same time, of course, to preserve it. » (Freud 220) I believe he is saying that you must do all the things in life that you can. She lives her life to the fullest and makes the most of it. Freud says that one should do everything possible to live a full life. It makes me think that suffering through something gives you a new appreciation. I think Angelina Jolie suffered a lot, so she didn't have the best childhood. in the media, which made his life very difficult. She also had to battle cancer, which made her appreciate the life she leads. According to Frankl, she lived a very meaningful life. In the life of Angelina Jolie, I conclude that Freud, Diamond, and Frankl would all assume that she lived a meaningful and fulfilling life. She has children and a career to be proud of. She is very involved in the community. She has power, which allows her not to resort to violence to obtain this power. She also has love, her work and suffering. According to the three philosophers, this is what gives meaning to your life.
