Florida is a place for fun and family time. There are endless activities to do, whether it's spending the day at the beach or going to Disney World with the family. When deciding where to live, one chooses what makes them happiest and best fits their schedule. Both California and Florida are places with beaches galore and Disney parks, but it all comes down to which state is the nicest place to live? A state's climate can play a huge role in whether or not someone wants to live there. . Florida's climate is humid subtropical. (All US cities, www.city-data.com, copyright 2010) Snow is extremely rare, even in winter. Florida is where people go to escape the cold of other states. Those who go to states with warm climates for the winter are known as snowbirds. Florida has a large snowbird community. California, on the other hand, has multiple climates, which attracts many people from all over to explore the state. The more people who come in search of adventure, the more people there are to roam the bustling streets already frequented by the city's regulars. Florida has a more consistent climate and has a better community of people who enjoy it. One element of these states is their population. Florida has a population of nineteen million, compared to California, which has a population of thirty-eight million. It's no well-kept secret that Hollywood and movie stars aren't exactly known for being real and truthful.
