    The sampling techniques used for this research were basic marketing research techniques (Gilbert np). A survey will be conducted among participants to determine the current customer base for the existing EDO site here in Prince George. An in-depth observation of customers at the EDO location in Pine Center Shopping Center, taking observational notes on the number and frequency of visits among identifiable groups. Recordings will be conducted for a period of two weeks before collecting enough data to begin making inferences. However, the process will continue beyond the two weeks to ensure that the data collected is a representative sample of customer trends. Ideally, this process will take place over different time periods to create a viable basis for target market and sample selection for our research needs. Once the entire data collection process is completed, the results are consistent. Data analysis follows to determine which key demographics would ideally be solicited for participation in the cross-sectional study. The data collection methods that will be used are observation, focus groups and surveys. Observation is used because it is flexible and collects real-time data on customer behavior and trends. Another advantage of using shadowing is its cost-effectiveness. Resource scarcity is a major factor in deciding which methods to use for data collection. Focus groups have the capacity to collect the views of many respondents in a single session. This capability is an advantage because it saves time obtaining information from a large number of participants. Surveys were a very useful way to collect statistical data on customer needs and trends. The results will be interpreted and discussed subsequently. In conclusion, the research design for this study is a mixed study approach. It uses qualitative study methods (focus groups and observation) as well as quantitative study methods (surveys). The collective benefit of using these methods includes cost effectiveness and improved validity results. The research focused on the Prince George area and aimed to collect, analyze, interpret and draw conclusions from the collected customer behavior data.
