In her essay she talked about how wonderful technology is because you can create a calendar of your life with all your schedules , or how someone can make friends on the Internet with applications like GroupMe and Fast Society. She also explains that one student logged out of Facebook for 24 hours and went a little crazy because of the withdrawal, acting like he couldn't survive without technology. I guess what she's trying to get across to her readers is that connection is nice, but disconnecting for a day is also a good thing.
