Important questions are raised regarding the hygienic quality of the foods sold and their health aspects. Consumers around the world have found the street food sector to be very varied, with others showing major progress in terms of development while others still pose a major health and safety risk (Rane, 2011 ). Developed countries have found ways to ensure that the foods they sell on the streets are approved by health authorities, while the same case does not apply to less developed countries.
