Romeo and JulietA character goes through many changes which depend on the type of events he experiences. The play “Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare uses different tones and language that show readers that Juliet, a protagonist, changes over time, proving the idea that she is a dynamic character. At the beginning of the play, we are introduced to an innocent and inexperienced girl, Juliet, the daughter of Lord Capulet. She has yet to see the real world and is being raised by the person she trusts most, her nurse. Juliet begins as a naive child who doesn't think much about love and marriage, but she quickly grows up as she falls in love with Romeo, the son of her family's great enemy. Since Juliet is a daughter of an aristocratic family, she has none of the freedom that Romeo needs to wander around the city, climb walls in the middle of the night, or engage in sword fights . As we begin to learn more about Juliette's character, we learn that Juliette is no longer the girl she once was. She is more courageous and willing to break the rules. It goes against her and her family beliefs. At the beginning of the play, she obeys her parents. But as the play progresses, Juliette ignores what her parents say. She is no longer the innocent girl she used to be. Shakespeare's use of language helps the reader see the change in a character that makes him a dynamic character. We first meet Juliet in Act One, Scene Three, where we learn a lot about her character. Juliette is a very caring, well-mannered and loving girl. She is always ready to help others. At that time, she was only thirteen years old and had never thought of marrying anyone. When her mother asked her to get married, it was something she hadn't dreamed of. Through the use of Shakespearean language, Shakespeare is able to show his readers the change that Juliet undergoes throughout the play through the language and tone he uses. Juliet's love for Romeo changes her. Before, she always told her mother everything and did what she was asked to do. But then she decided to marry Romeo without consulting any of her family members. She did things she never would have done if she hadn't met Romeo. Juliette is a dynamic character due to the changes she goes through. Shakespeare is able to show the audience that a character, no matter how he is at the beginning of the story, his decision and the events that influence his life can change him, making him a dynamic character..
