    The term “ethnomusicology” is defined as “the study of music in its cultural context.” Ethnomusicologists focus on and study music in order to not only interpret its literal meaning, but also to understand its importance to its listeners and artists as well as how its purpose is communicated to its audiences. . Ethnomusicology is very versatile and multidisciplinary. People working in this sector may have a strong grounding and grounding in music, dance, folklore, and other music-related aspects, but all ethnomusicologists share a significant and consistent foundation in the approaches and methods followed. My musical culture will cover hip-hop. culture here in Los Angeles. Hip-hop was born in the late 60s and took the country by storm with its catchy beats and the ability to create new dances with it.
