    People just throw away food, empty cans, plastic bags, etc. anywhere without even recognizing what it will cause in the future. The streets and gutters are filled with dirt and garbage inviting mosquitoes to these places since there are barely any trash cans around. People randomly choose specific areas to dump their trash without even thinking about a neighbor who lives near that location. The trash keeps piling up and it takes over a month for the garbage truck to come pick it up and sometimes they just don't show up and the people living in these areas suffer the most. When you visit the place, you would be shocked to see the areas where people live. People get sick in these areas, especially children, from malaria and people also contract it due to lack of personal hygiene. Most people cannot get back on their feet after contracting malaria because they do not have enough money to buy their medicines.
