    It was the most astronomically huge mistake and that mistake was my first year. It all started when we returned to Poway, CA from Texas. School had just started at Poway High and we were falling behind on selecting classes to fit my schedule, which we did over the phone. I had seven classes in pre-engineering and physical education, which was a no-brainer because in every high school you had to do that as well. I chose Honor Biology which was like Ap Biology at Chaparral, Honors English, Spanish 1 & 2, Art exordium and Geometry. Everything started to go downhill with the English and geometry specializations. I started missing assignments and letting my social life eat up my grades, which I was just lazy and careless about. I never tried to verbalize with counselors or builders, which made me more carefree to celebrate the fact that I don't have to worry about my first year believing that it doesn't count for the middle of the first semester. My grades were like a roller coaster going up and down until I reached the end of the first semester of freshman year and my degree.....
