When governments are disconnected from the organizations they govern, the organizations become ineffective. This is true in any situation in which one group exerts control over another, from the United States Congress to state and local governments, even school boards and administrators. Student life is entirely regulated by those who are in no way subject to their own rules. Many examples can be found in school hallways across America. Most hypocrisies are not great travesties of justice, but they lead to a feeling of second-class citizenship among the student body. Little things like not being able to drink a cup of coffee in the hallway degrade students by calling into question their ability to complete a simple task without causing problems or difficulty. Unbalanced legislation like this, where there are double standards, should be replaced to ensure that regulations are aimed at protecting the well-being of a population. Not just to oppress him. Another oppression in schools is the use of a permit system to move from one room to another. This practice of completely documenting student movements throughout the school day is not only unnecessary, but also impractical.
