  • Essay / Analysis of Leadership Style - 1537

This part of the essay focuses on the leadership style and its detailed characteristics. Leadership style is defined as the behavior of leaders who focus on what leaders do and how they act. Humans' fundamental beliefs and assumptions about their natural work habits define our leadership style. In life, the leader can be chosen by the organization, the entrepreneur or a group of people believing in his leadership. There are many different leadership styles that can be exhibited by leaders in politics, business, or otherwise. According to 20th century research on leadership styles, conducted by psychologists Lewin, Lippitt and White, there are three: authoritarian, democratic and laissez-faire. Psychologists conducted a study, the aim of which was to determine which style had the maximum impact on work efficiency, the level of job satisfaction and intercompany relations. Lewin, Lippitt, and White asserted that the leader who adopts a specific approach procedure is capable of producing a specific group climate and leadership style. 3.1 Authoritarian leadership...... middle of paper ...... and through the simple act of holding leadership positions. A good leader imposes demands and is consistent in pursuing the goal. Additionally, he must show his human nature when he is gentle and cheerful towards the people in the group. A good leader must be able to listen and understand them, showing that their opinion is just as important as other company issues..
