Fortunately, there are people and organizations who want to help these individuals and families overcome issues that may prove difficult to improve their lives in many ways. United Way is a very important non-profit organization in the community. United Way brings together diverse people and resources to solve the most pressing issues facing their communities. Through their unique partnerships and approaches, United Way brings together resources beyond the amounts promised as part of their fundraising efforts. United Way's goal is to identify and resolve community issues and changes within communities through partnerships with schools, government agencies, businesses, unions, financial institutions, community development corporations , voluntary and neighborhood associations, faith communities and many others. Centraide believes that education is the cornerstone of individual and community success. These problems create many problems that can lead to stress and other health problems. United Way is an organization ready to reach out to the community to provide assistance to those who need it.
