This question is interesting. I never thought about it. This question reminds me of a movie, The Hunger Games. I revere the main character, Katniss Everdeen, so much that she is a strong independent survivor in the game. She is a highly skilled archer, hunter, and trapper. She received a good education on edible, medicinal and poisonous plant life. She must be able to survive if she finds herself alone in the wild and has been injured without any pain medication. And me? I was born in the city and grew up in a comfortable place and lots of food. I was spoiled before I came to the United States. After coming here, I have to do anything for myself.
