    White privileges are privileges that are given to white people that they do not earn, it is an asset that they get; daily simply because of the color of their skin.; White. Peggy McIntosh describes white privilege as “an invisible, lightweight knapsack containing special provisions, maps, passports, code books, visas, clothing, tools, and blank checks” (McIntosh 1988, p175 ). I believe white privilege is the same as racism because the word white privilege itself explains it. This is a privilege granted and offered only to white people. If someone has special privilege because they are white, then that is racism. my day, my week or my year is going badly, I do not need to ask each negative episode or situation if it has racial connotations (McIntosh 1988, p177). This explains that no matter your race or origin, it has nothing to do with how people view your life. If you have low integrity and you have this personality type that people just don't believe in. you, then it is not racism that is taken into account. I can have a bad day and I'm not going to blame a white person. Race is not a factor in this case. I'm not going there. Growing up, I never witnessed any white privilege. However, I was told to judge someone not by their skin, but rather by their behavior and actions. However, now that I know that recognizing white privilege makes things better for me. to understand my life here in the United States. This helps me better understand social life and the discrimination that exists here. I experienced a lot of white privilege when I moved to America. Going through airport security, the workers were still smiling. white people and white people didn't have to wait in line. However, my family and I had to wait a long time at Boston's Logan Airport when we first moved in.
