The entertainment industry offers not only entertainment games but also learning programs, aimed at children and adults, to help individuals excel in certain problem areas. In addition, computers are also capable of training military personnel in a virtual reality environment. The American and Canadian military are an example. They both train soldiers and pilots in methods of warfare using high-tech computers and virtual reality equipment. In summary, computer entertainment may not be big, but it satisfies millions of people around the world. Cities as we know them today would not exist without the help of computers. In a modern city, hundreds of objects are controlled by computers and most of them are taken for granted. For example, traffic lights at all intersections are controlled by computers and sometimes even with the help of underground sensors. Without computers, the entire power grid would fail and the entire neoteric population of the world would be left without precious electricity.
