Utopia - by definition, is a community or society possessing highly desirable or perfect qualities. Throughout human existence, we humans dream of building a perfect society. Without crime, without worries and providing the population with what is necessary. The word utopia arouses great expectations, but only among a majority. Others may see a utopia with a corrupt factor, and still consider it the most beautiful place there is. Planted in southeastern California, in the Colorado desert, a place named Slab City, it is recognized as "the last free place in America." This place is home to many people, from travelers to elderly retirees. Here, the word pariah has no meaning. Slab City has a long history. The community lifestyle of Slab City is very unique; residents of all kinds watch out for shelters in RVs, tents pitched in any area with a campfire, and even under small trees. There is no set lifestyle here. The majority of people remain stationary east of Jesus, because of the loving people there; everyone takes care of everyone. Person
