    The United States is one of the greatest military powers in the world. Even though the United States has gained this reputation, it will be a long time before it has to use its military to interact in any type of war in the world. The United States remains neutral in any war in which its allies participate until drawn or required to evolve. This is exactly what happened in the 1940s, during World War II. The United States remained neutral in this war for almost three years before the Empire of Japan waged war on the United States by attacking the naval base at Pearl Harbor in December 1941. This was one of the major points so far from World War II. which then transformed this war into a world war. That day led to the use of the first atomic bomb the world had ever seen. After the Pearl Harbor naval base was attacked and bombed by the Japanese military, the American view of Japan was changed and the need to end the war led the United States to drop the atomic bomb on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. On December 7, 1941 – a date that will live in infamy – the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by the naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.
