When the need for bigger and better technology quickly became not just a rivalry, but a business for two companies, Apple and Samsung quickly began a feud that would be recognized around the world. The iPhone was the first in a great line of smartphones that could perform tasks that made driving, talking, texting, education, and all aspects of life easier. Apple had truly surpassed all other smartphone companies until Samsung developed the Galaxy phone in May 2012. This phone had some features that were not available on the iPhone and also stole some ideas from the Apple company . This battle between companies soon leads to a lawsuit between the two in which Samsung must pay Apple for stealing certain ideas. Since then, that hasn't stopped either company from producing smartphones that consistently get bigger and better with each new creation. Companies like Vizio and Samsung have now created smart TVs with Internet access, programming options, and Bluetooth recording for when you can't watch your favorite movie or TV show.
