My classes are filled with students from grades 9 to 12. Many students in this class have serious behavior problems and are frequently absent. The majority of students in my classes attended an alternative school throughout the school year for fighting, doing drugs, and bringing weapons to school. Regardless of the behaviors they have exhibited in the past, they still deserve a learning environment where they feel safe and are willing to learn. I admit that many students have had behavioral problems over the past few weeks, however, one student has been more disruptive than the others. This student is loud and has difficulty following directions the first time. She often uses profanity and is aggressive with other students in the class. She often argues with other classmates and has attempted to start a physical altercation during class. She responds to authority when asked to return to her task, but respect for authority may be short-lived. If she disagrees with the discipline she receives, she will direct her negative behavior toward teachers and administrators. During the three weeks of summer, she has already been suspended twice. To ensure that other students in my class are able to learn, it is important that this student learns to control his behavior. To do this, a behavioral plan will be
