  • Essay / Maturity - 740

A common item in everyone's vocabulary today is a word used in various contexts with little understanding of what it actually means. “Maturity,” the stream of questions that come to our minds when we begin to think about the eight-letter word are numerous. The most fundamental question is: “What is maturity?” How to climb the pedestal of maturity? And how do we measure maturity? Einstein presents his perspective on maturity in an even more complicated way: “I live in that solitude which is painful in youth, but delightful in mature years.” This point of view certainly paints a picture of maturity, but it leads us to a whole new world of mystification. Starting with the first question that comes to mind, I opened a dictionary and my search came up with a result that defined maturity as "the state of being fully developed or developed", realizing that the answer was far from the philosophical depth I expected, I started brainstorming and asked myself a few questions: Full growth and development...of what? Well, there are many ways that humans develop, focusing on two specific types. I wondered if this was the development of his physical body or the maturity of his rational, emotional and logical mind? The first type of maturity, bodily physical maturity, is the easiest to understand, this kind of maturity is very obvious and irrefutable, for example, I am 19 years old, this clearly means that the earth has revolved 19 times around the sun since the day I was born, but that is also a rough calculation of my physical maturity, telling someone that I am 19 years old, it is quite obvious that I am relatively healthy and that I I have no wrinkles on my face. Physical maturity can also be explained by middle of paper...not giving up and trying again with full commitment to succeed. This clearly means that we human beings should have some sort of intermediary that helps us cultivate the experience for a positive harvest. This intermediary could be the ability to reason, to reason with a positive attitude aimed at the common good. Given everything we've read above, it's pretty clear that the measure of a person's mental and emotional maturity is directly reflected by their experiences and what they learn from them. Maturity is usually overlooked or misinterpreted by our society, rather than refining from within. and be considered a mature person. Power, status and beauty are considered much more important virtues in our society. To me, maturity is not the growth or development of a human, it is that important characteristic necessary for development that makes us human..
