I gained knowledge about the rewarding benefits that accompany the work and civil duties of social workers. I also learned about the many different titles one can hold as a social worker and all the different career paths one can choose to follow. All of the information I gathered had a positive impact on my decision to major in social work. After writing this article, I am now even more certain that social work is the career I want to pursue.
