    The first year of college had finally arrived and I was ready to experience life through the lens of an adult. Barely eighteen years old, I had everything figured out: my school of choice, my major and my career. My plan was to major in business administration and double minor in psychology and political science, with the hopes of becoming a lawyer. It never ceases to amaze me how each college semester has taught me to expand my area of ​​knowledge and become more open to new experiences. After my very first semester, I decided to major in business administration and psychology. Over time, my second year allowed me to delve into many major courses, which probed a thirst for knowledge to be satisfied. At this point, I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of both academic disciplines, but it wasn't until my first year that I realized my true goal. While I was in my industrial/organizational psychology class, I had an epiphany that allowed me to explore my options for working in this field, and I knew that my dream was to become a psychologist. industrial/organizational.
