    In society, bisphenol A is also known as BPA. It is important and relevant in some fields like in cars and medical equipment and not so important for the human body. BPA is mainly linked to metal cans. The purpose of this article is to discuss the molecular process, real-world applications, and advantages and disadvantages of Bisphenol A. Bisphenol A has deep ties to the can manufacturing industry, in the NACAR sector and in the history of bisphenol A. Bisphenol A is a chemical element used primarily to make polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. Polycarbonate plastics are a lightweight plastic, it is a high performance plastic, which has a balance of toughness, stability, optical clarity, high heat resistance and excellent electrical resistance. Because of these capabilities, polycarbonate is used in a wide variety of common products, like us in CDs and DVDs. An epoxy resin begins with the reaction of two compounds, bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. Epoxy is a thermosetting epoxy polymer that hardens when mixed with a catalyzing agent that imparts hardness to the can.
