    When he first said that I was certainly shocked, what do you mean, simple pleasures are deep pleasures? What are simple pleasures and how are they profound? At first I was skeptical because it seemed like he was going to have a philosophical answer to why he considered simple pleasures to be profound pleasures, but he didn't. He used a great example regarding food. When he showed me the picture of the meat, I realized that I had never really thought about why I eat certain things and not others. It really depended on the origin of the object. I mean, I usually associate things with food companies, but not just food. For example, I won't eat something if I know that a certain food organization treats its animals or employees inhumanely. Or if I know something comes from a certain animal or a certain part of an animal. This then got me thinking about why I don't wear certain brands of clothing or shoes.
